Biography

I got my first SLR at around the age of 14 (and still have it somewhere in the attic), and have been hooked since.

Equipment

The first SLR I owned was a Zenit EM, very basic and cheap. After owning a number of other SLR’s, I finally switched to digital a few years ago and bought a Canon 350D.

The 350 does a good job of image capture but the tiny screen on the rear of the body makes reviewing your shots a bit of a chore so I am now considering an upgrade (or is this just an excuse that I have given myself to justify buying a new camera?).

I have a Tamron 17-50mm 1:2.8 and a Canon 70-200mm F4L.

The next lens to be added will be a 10-20mm for wide-angle.

Inspirations

There isn’t one subject that I favour over others, as you can see from the gallery images. I take the camera to most places I visit and shoot whatever happens to be there that interests me.
